Breakaway Campground

This is a basic bush camp with no facilities in Coal seam Conservation Park.
The campground is located in an old gravel pit, however don't let that turn you off. The views from the campground over the valley are spectacular and remind you how remote this region really is.
There are facilities about 1km east at "River Bend" where there are toilets, barbecues and picnic tables.
This area is renowned for its wildflower displays from July through to October where the whole ground is carpeted in colour. The pink Everlasting flowers cover the area as far as the eye can see.

Location information for Breakaway
This campsite is in Coalseam Conservation Park
One of the most botanically diverse regions in this part of Australia, the real attraction to this park is seeing it when the wildflowers blanket the landscape.
This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.
The campground is accessed by good quality gravel roads, and is just off Coalseam Road.
Coalseam Conservation Park is about 1 hour west from Geraldton.
