Large, open campground on the banks of the Cobungra River.
The river here is quite attractive and offers anglers and kayakers a place to play. The river is known for its trout, so maybe a bit of fly fishing from the kayak?
Given the location and the altitude, it is unlikely that you will be looking to take a dip in the creek, but for the brave (or foolhardy) there are a couple of good holes.
If you have built up a thirst from all the kayaking and fishing, you can refresh yourself at the nearby Blue Duck Pub. This 1900s slab hut building is worth a look for the history buff.
