Located alongside a small area of Heathland and within a short walk of Cathedral Rocks, this is a beautiful campground set amongst tall eucalypts and banksias.

The campsites are well defined and kept fairly separate from the main day use area allowing for more privacy, even when there are others there.

Walking

Cathedral Rocks

This loop walk is not to be missed. From the campground, it is approximately a 6km loop around some awe inspiring granite formations, along fern lined creeks and moss covered rocks. There is a bit of a climb up to the top (400m side track off the main circuit) but again, if you are fit enough, it is well worth the effort. Don't forget your camera, and allow plenty of time to soak up this amazing area.

Woolpack Rocks

This area is usually accessed from Native Dog campground however there is a turn off on the Cathedral Rocks loop that goes right through to Native Dog and past Woolpack Rocks turn off. There is a bit of a climb at to get up to the top, but it is well worth the effort with spectacular 360 degree views of the surrounding park. Allow plenty of time for photography, lazing on a boulder in the sun, or exploring the rock formations at the top of Woolpack Rocks. At 1400m above sea level, and being exposed on the granite at the top, means it can get very cold in winter. Don't forget the woollies.
