Pleasant riverside bush camping by the Goulburn River, on small scattered river flats.

Well shaded by Red River Gums over short grass, below the escarpment. Sandy beaches.

There is similar camp 4k further along the River Road but the access track (Thompson Rd) lacks a grid and there are deep ruts at the gate.

Access

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

From Murchison: north up the Murchison-Tatura Rd 3k, right (nor-east) up the Mooroopna-Murchison Rd 3.6k (1.8k past the plastic tunnel hot houses, immediately opposite Andersons Rd), right (south) 200m on a formed clay track (may be rutted over irrigation channel) to a grid, forest and the Goulburn River. Select a riverside site
