An attractive but exposed forested valley site between the main road and the Wannon River (small, swampy).

The fenced car park is an old roadway, with level, grassed tent camping area extending away to the surrounding bush.

Reasonable shade from stunted Brown Stringybark, Manna Gum and white trunked Swamp Gum.

Exposed to Grampians Tourist Rd and traffic noise.

Access

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there

Access from Halls Gap: South 36k on the Grampians Rd [C216], camp on left just after crossing the Wannon River.

Also accessible from Dunkeld (25k) and also Ararat via Willaura (Yarram Gap Rd).
