An attractive grassed clearing on a low ridge above Long Gully Creek.

Well shaded by Stringybark with a wattle understory. The small, level parking area is adjacent to facilities (new).

Wallabies are common, birds (kookaburras, wrens, etc) plentiful.

Three walking trails. The Glut scenic reserve is just up the road.

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there

from Ballarat: West 44k on the Western Fwy & Hwy [M8 & A8] to Beaufort, right (north) 9k on the Beaufort-Amphitheatre Rd to Raglin, left (north-west) 8.2k on the Beaufort-Elmhurst Rd, keep left (north-west) at the Y junction 3.1k up The Glut Rd (gravel) (1.6k past Richards) near the Tunbridges Tk junction.
