Large grassy campground on the banks of the upper Murray river.

Fires are permitted in built fire places, unless fire restrictions are in place. Picinic tables and long drop toilets are provided.

Ideal for the trout fisherman. You will require a fishing licence from Department of Primary Industries to fish here.

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Tom Groggin campground is in the southern precinct of Kosciuszko National Park. To get there:

From Jindabyne (Snowy Region Visitor Centre):

Drive 3km along Kosciuszko Road towards Perisher

Turn left at Alpine Way, then drive 55km along Alpine Way.
