Large, open and grassy campground set amongst pine trees in Byfield State Forest

The campground is suitable for carvans, camper trailers or tent based camping. It is mostly level with plenty of grass and shade.

There are wood barbecues (bring your own firewood and check current restrictions). There are also some picnic table scattered through the campground.

There are also some walk in only campsites tat are a bit quieter if you are happy to camp a little way from your car.

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there

The drive in section is suitable for medium sized campers and caravans.

The campground is signed off Byfield Road, near the Forestry Office
