Free camping, a short stroll from the beach on the Yorke Peninsula

The campground is dispersed amongst the low coastal shrubs, with no shade. There are also no facilities at all so you will need to be self sufficient.

This is one of my favourites of the basic bush camps on the Yorke Peninsula, mainly due to the fact that it is usually quiet and it is also usually well sheltered from the wind. There is a nice shallow area for swimming and the fish (mainly tommy ruffs and garfish) bite well.

You can launch a tinny here from the beach if you have a 4wd.

Pets are allowed, but must be kept under control.

Campfires are allowed outside of Fire Danger Season.

Please check the Yorke Peninsula Council website and CFS website for current restrictions.
