A very pretty little campground in Border Ranges National Park.

It is only a small site, and surrounded by sub-tropical rainforest. The camping area is flat, lush grass and great for tent based camping.

Picnic tables and long drop toilets as well as wood barbecues (bring your own wood).

Campsite has been empty both times I have gone here, so seems it is a good spot for those who want a bit of peace and quiet.

Walking

The Booyong walking track starts here. It is a approximately 9km walk throught o Sheepstation Creek Camping area so would be good for a car/shuttle one way walk. Could be done as a return walk in one day if you are very fit.

This is a stunning rainforet walk, and not surprisingly passes many large Booyong Trees. There are a couple of swimming holes along the way and also a loop walk (Rosewood Loop) which you can take off the main track (well worth the couple of extra kms).
