This is the first campground you come to when entering the Inskip Peninsula

The campsites here are very sandy, roof top tent users will be fine, but if you are in a ground tent, make sure you bring the sand pegs.

There are no facilities (no toilets either) at this campground.

This campsite is in Inskip Peninsula Recreation Area

Within a short drive of Rainbow Beach, Inskip Peninsula forms a natural breakwater for Tin Can Bay.

Getting there

This is a 4wd only access camp ground and the track in can be quite soft with deep ruts.
