North Head Campground

Basic bush camping, suitable for tent based camping, right near the beach.

Not suitable for caravans or camper trailers as you park behind bollards and camp on the other side of them. Not a walk in campground, but not a "drive in" one either.

Beautiful spot though and usually pretty quiet to compared to the others in this park. Plenty of shade and the camp areas are level (although mainly dirt).

Beach is a short stroll away, heaps of wildlife (kanagroos, wallabies, birds).

Just to the south of the campsite, there is a small tributary that is a great spot for bird watching, and there is excellent fishing near the rocks.
