Car based camping at Termeil Point

Offering access to the ocean and Meroo Lake, this is the most popular cmapsite in Meroo National Park, due to the fact that you can camp next to your car. Having access to the lake makes it a suitable spot for kayaking and kid friendly.

There is plenty of shade and campsites are large and level.

This campground is suitable for camper trailers.

Location information for Termeil Point

This campsite is in Meroo National Park

Coastal Lake National Park with pristine beaches and enchanting forests. Just south of Ulladulla, this is a must see park when travelling from Nowra to Batemans Bay.

4wd only access.

Getting there

This is a sandy track and it is known to be a bit tricky in a 2wd vehicle

Sunburnt Beach campground is in the Termeil Point precinct in the southern part of Meroo National Park. To get there:

Travel south on the Princes Highway from Ulladulla

Approximately 14km south of Ulladulla turn left into Blackbutt Road

Continue for approximately 2km to the fork in the road

Turn left and follow until you reach Sunburnt Beach campground carpark
