Well treed campground, right near the beach. Suitable for caravans.

There are no defined campsites, but the trees give little areas a bit more privacy and shade. Also a more a protected site in the wind.

About 1km further up the hill is Smoky Cape Lighthouse. Stunning views from here and Captain Cook Lookout and nice spot for a picnic. Good whale watching spot.

This area is renowned as a fishing destination, Flat Head, Bream,Tailor and Blackfish have all met an end on my dinner plate here. Around the rocks and in the gutters along the beach is the place to be. Best bait is pipis and beachworms which can readily be foraged along Smoky Beach.
