A pleasant, quiet, riverside State Wildlife Reserve on the north bank of the Goulburn Rv, popular for fishing and canoeing.

Designated for walk-in tent camping, (100m walk to camp at the river).

It may also be possible to camp in the un-shaded carpark (no signage saying otherwise). The carpark overlooks the river flats and lagoon.

Access

This is a walk in only campsite.

Getting there

From Seymour: East 14k on the Goulburn Valley Hwy [B340] to just before the Goulburn Rv bridge, left (north) through the rest area and gate 7.2k on Greenslopes Rd (narrow gravel), through a signed gate on the right, 50m to the Reserve

The entire road is closed during "Catastrophic" fire danger levels - this fact is noted at the start of the road from the Goulburn Valley Highway. The location marker in the description and on the map points to the entry track immediately after the gate that must be kept closed. This gate is almost at the top of a steep loose gravel road upon exit, so it should be opened before attempting to exit. The road in is very narrow at places and while towing a caravan or trailer is possible, the passing spaces are very short.
