A very pleasant ridge top bush camp. A level, green grassed (slashed) clearing surrounded by dense wet sclerophll montane forest.

Shade from a row of cyprus pine, mountain ash, blackwood and silver wattle. Rosellas, wallaby, wombats, wrens are common.

Gunyah Hotel was built about 1900, burnt down in 1942
