Bulga Quarry Campground

Bulga Quarry has water available Bulga Quarry has picnic fireplaces Pets allowed in Bulga Quarry

Bush camping in wet sclerophyll forest not far from the Bulga National Park.

A level, grassed clearing surrounded by mature Mountain Ash, wattles and dense scrub. Small dam.

The quarry extended 100m around to the right offering quiet, secluded camping, but the access road is (2006) overgrown.

It would be possible to overnight (no facilities) on the bare grassy top of Mt Tassie 3k north - sunsets over the Strzelecki's and sunrises over the Latrobe Valley, if the cloud lifts. Expect cold winds.
