On the Northern end of Saunders Beach, this free camping area has great amenities and direct access to the beach.

The camping area is well maintained, and level grass with some patches of shade from the casurinas.

There is also a kids playground with sail shade, covered picnic tables and rubbish bins. There is plenty of room for larger caravans and some nice tent sites.

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there

At the northern end of Reef Street in Saunders Beach. Saunders Beach is about 34km north of Townsville via the Bruce Highway, and Saunders Beach Road.
