A road rest area in a very large level reserve by the shallow Wimmera River.

Open with some shade from mature River Red Gum and Black Box with a scattered understory of wattle and brush, 50-100m off highway.

It is possible to get further off the highway for quieter bush camps by following tracks downstream (north) towards the distant railway bridge (1k).

Ducks, kookaburras, magpies and cockatoos are common.
