Situated on the slopes of Mt Beckworth (634m) in open forest.

The small site features a short circuit road, 2 tables, 1 BBQ and a large Manna Gum.

Best in spring. Can be hot and dry in summer. Rabbits common.

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Situated 30k north west of Ballarat, 8k south west of Clunes.

Access from Clunes [C291]: west 900m on the Maryborough Rd [C291], left (south) 4k on the Learmonth Rd (starts as West St), right (west) 2k on Glendaruel Rd to its end, right (north) 1k on Kierces (Fenton) Rd (gravel), left 1.3k on Mountain Creek Rd (2 tonne bridge limit, dry weather ford) to the Reserve. Left (south) 1.3k, on the right.
