Very pleasant, quiet, creek side camping at the foot of Mt Bogong.

5 level grassed terraces (old sawmill building sites) with adjacent parking bays. Surrounded by steep forested slopes - Peppermint, Mountain Ash, Victorian Blue Gum - with wattles and tree ferns by rushing Mountain Creek.

Currawongs, wrens, crows and cockatoos are common.

Rated 4.3/5

Short term use preferred because of popularity with bush walkers.
