The largest and most popular campground in Mungo National Park, suitable for caravans.

The sites are large and defined with bollards, with plenty of room for caravans.

Under cover gas barbecues are provided as well as built wood fireplaces/barbecues. You will need to bring your own firewood and drinking water.

There is a short walk to the Mungo lookout, wich is worth doing in the evening to watch the sunset.

There is also an $8 per vehicle fee to access the Mungo National Park.

Location information for Main

Access

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there

The road in is good quality dirt and suitable for 2WD or caravan in good weather.

Main campground is in the south western precinct of Mungo National Park. To get there:

From Sturt Highway, take Silver City Highway south of Mildura.

Turn right into Arumpo Road and follow to the end

Main campground is on the right shortly before the T-intersection
