Large grassy and level campground suitable for big rigs, low fees.

Myrtle Park Campground is a pleasant spot with a very open grassy camping area. There is an undercover picnic area, with barbecues and a small kiosk. There is also a playground to keep the kids busy (when they aren't trying to spot platypus in St Patricks River).

There are also showers, flushing toilets as well as plenty of wood fired barbecues around the grounds. There is also a large, modern camp kitchen.

This is a great low cost camping area maintained by the local council. The facilities are excellent , modern and tidy and the atmosphere is excellent. Definitely worth putting on your shortlist.

Fires are allowed in built fire places or in elevated firepots that do not burn the grass. Firepots available for hire onsite. Please check local fire bans and rules.

There are a few swimming holes in the river but the water can be very cool. There are also some good fishing spots. There are great spots for kayaking nearby. Trout can be caught here (there is a trout farm upstream and the odd one gets away).

There is always both drinking water and bulk water available at this campsite.

Restrained pets are allowed.
