Dispersed bush camping on the high banks of the Murray River.

Only a couple of small beaches. Flood plain State Forest - dense River Red Gum with some broom scrub with grasses, billabongs, creeks and swamps. Prolific bird life.

Access

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there

Situated on the Murray River upstream of Wood Wood.

Access from Wood Wood rest area, south-east (towards Swan Hill) 200m, signed entry grid on left, follow Burns Lane (formed) 1.3k to river. Burns Lane continues about 6k along the river.

Also accessible via signed road off the Murray Valley Hwy about 1.3k north-west of Nyah leads to a car park and walking track, with track leading around to Burns Lane.
