A relatively large, open clearing on raised river flats above a loop in the Traralgon Creek, lush grass, shaded by a row of old pines.

Facing forested cliffs, steep hills and farmland.

Toilet marked on some tourist maps does not exist, the shelter does.

A popular local picnic area.

There are at least 5 informal bush camps over the next 6.8k up the Creek.

Access

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there

Situated on the edge of lush forest by the Traralgon Creek, south of Traralgon.

Access from Traralgon [A1]: South 13k on Traralgon Creek Rd, keep right (south) 5.6k at the Balook Rd junction still on the Traralgon Creek Rd, on the right just after crossing the second bridge.
