Large open field between the Mann River and a creek, with no facilities.

A sign immediately after turning off Gywdir Hwy indicates the road (Cangai Bridge Rd) is unformed and not suitable for caravans. This may be so further on, but the road to the campsite, when reviewed, was reasonable, and a large caravan succeeded in making it to the campsite. However, like many unformed roads, surfaces can change, so drive it without caravan attached first.

The site is a large open field between the Mann River and a creek. You must first cross the low level wooden planked bridge.

There are no fireplaces nor toilet facilities, and depending upon your campsite you either have to duck through the trees, or clamber over rocks to get to the water. The local cow population will visit you around noon and again early evening and stand still and stare at you so you will not eat their grass ... they are known as the Grass Police.

The river is signposted as closed to all fishing.
