Great location, right on the breakwall with powered and unpowered sites, cabins and backpackers accommodation.
The park is located at the entrance of Hastings River and in the heart of Port Macquarie, there is a walking path out front that takes you to the beach one way or into town the other way. It is close to shops, restaurants and the beach.
On the foreshore near the park is a recently built skate park, play equipment and outdoor fitness equipment.
There are limited pet friendly sites, and during winter, they have limited sites with firepits.
