About Bowling Green Bay National Park

A diverse National Park South of Townsville in Far North Queensland

Probably the best known part of this park is Alligator Creek, with its beautiful cascading creek, swimming holes and rainforest setting.

There is more to this park however as it stretches right to the coast and up to Cape Clevland and the lower areas protect significant wetlands.

Walking

There are two designated walking trails in the park. The lookout is an easy 1km return walk along Alligator Creek.

There is also a 17km walk "Alligator Falls Track" from the Alligator Creek day use area.
