About Burrum Coast National Park

Stretching for about 70km along the coast, and protecting coastal plains between Bundaberg and Hervey Bay, Queensland.

The wetlands in Burrum Coast National Park of national significance and the park protects a wide range of plants, birds, and wildlife.

Bushwalking

There are designated walking trails in the park ranging from and easy 10 minute / 500m walk to an excellent bird hide to a 12km return walk (Melaleuca Track) through salt-pans, swamps and mangroves.
