Grew up in the country in WA. Joined the army at 18 years, served in Vietnam. After 20 years, resigned and worked in my own business till breakdown in 2000. Moved around to various places in NSW but always wanted to live in the country. My present wife is a city girl and doesn\'t want to so with her agreeance i go camping with my dog/s two to three times a year and love going to outback areas. I plan on going to Birdsville via The Track soon and Roxby Downs is high on my list. I find places of interest from various sources including The Land Newspaper, the internet, talking to people and so on. I currently live on the Central Coast NSW and volunteer at my local community centre as well as being a volunteer fire fighter.

I write poetry from time to time and have written two about the outback. I don\'t plan my poems, the words just enter my head and I write them down..
