Basic campsite, suitable for tents only, in the Colong region of Blue Mountains National Park

Not suitable for camper trailers as the sites are fenced off from the road.

Tent sites are level with plenty of shade.

There are built wood fire/bbqs, but you will need to bring your own wood as collecting wood in the National Park is prohibited.

Location information for Mount Werong

Access

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Start at Oberon on Edith Road, then turn right after 8km onto Butter Factory Lane, which leads onto Shooters Hill Road.

Turn left onto Mount Werong Road (also known as Colong Oberon historic stock route) and follow this unsealed road for approx 10km from the entrance to the park.
