Alongside Davies Creek in Dinden National Park, suitable for tents.

You are not able to park your vehicle on the actual campsite (bollarded) so this is not a great spot for camper trailers. Small campervans could locate in the parking space if needed.

Fires and generators are not permitted at this campsite so you will need to bring a fuel stove. There are picnic tables and long drop toilets.

There are a number of marked bush walking trails near Lower Davies Creek Campground ranging from a 300m board walk to a 12.8km circuit track. Follow the link below to see all walks near this campground.

Access

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Southwest of Kuranda or Southeast of mareeba in Davies Creek National Park

6.2km from the Kennedy Highway, just off Davies Creek Road.

The road to this campground is unsealed, however is OK for 2wd vehicles in good weather. It may become impassable after heavy rain.
