Basic free campground, between the New England Highway and Beardy Creek.

The creek is a general trout stream, and has beenknow to offer up one or two every now and then. Note that season, bag limits and licences for NSW fishing.

The campground itself is large and level with sheltered picnic tables, fireplaces and basic toilets.

There is plenty of room for large vans ere, and it is a good spot for quick overnight on your way though to see one of the majestic national parks in the New England Region.

Beardy Creek rest area is a free campground and is maintained by Glen Innes Council. Say thanks for providing it by leaving the place tidy.

No need to book, just pull off the highway, and listen to the sound of the trucks on the New England Highway

The turn off is to the west off the New England Highway, about 10km north from Glen Innes
