A small, green, ridge top grassed clearing shaded by a few large pines backed by lush green wet sclerophyll forest.

Large Mountain Ash, wattles and tree ferns - near a very small dam. An old school site.

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Access from Tims Corner on the Gembrook-Launching Place Road (11k north of Gembrook, 14k south of Launching Place): East 7.3k up the Beenak Rd to the junction with the East Beenak Rd, left (east) 1.4k on Beenak Rd (narrow, gravel) (Black Sands Rd), pine trees on right.
