An attractive, green, ridge top site well shaded and wind protected by white trunked Manna (Ribbony) Gum forest.

There is an understory of scattered wattles and good grass cover over blue-gray granite.

The circuit road has a few small fenced parking areas, some with BBQ and/or bench.

Dispersed bush camping is encouraged on the grassed saddle beyond the day area. Flush WC, tank water. Dogs on lead at all times. Quiet, except for occasional day visitors
