(No Camping). Only a couple of km out of Mount Morgan, with good fishing and a lovely picnic area.
Unfortunately camping is not permitted at this dam, however it is a lovely spot for a day trip.
Since it first filled after the 1999 upgrade, it has been very popular with for picning, skiing and fishing.
There are some 4wd trails around the back of the dam that lead to some access points which look good for fishing spots.
A new plkayground for the kids and outdoor gym equipment for the bigger kids is also provided. There are bbqs, picnic tables and toilets as well as fresh water.
As far as fishing, Sleepy Cod, Barramundi, Yellow Belly and Redclaw are all regularly caught here.
