Basic camping area next to the public boat ramp on the Burdekin River, in Giru, QLD.

This is not somewhere that you would go just to camp, but it would make a good base for boat based fishing. The boat ramp is concrete and leads straight to deep water so OK for larger boats.

There are basic "eco loos" here and lots of fish waiting to be taken out of the river and cooked.
