A tidy, free campground in Blue Water QLD, near Blue Water Creek.

The campground is alongside the picnic area and has a playground to keep the kids amused. It is in a "park like" setting and very attractive. There are large mature trees which provide plenty of shade and enough room for caravans.

A short walk leads down to Bluewater Creek which is fairly shallow and and excellent swimming spot. Be mindful through that you are in far north Queensland and Crocs have been spotted here.

There are well maintained flushing toilets and tap water as well as rubbish bins provided.

Wil-Win park, about 6.5km further down Forestry Road, also has access to the water and a shallower wider swimming hole. You can't camp here but it is a nice spot for a picnic or quick dip.
