A green, grassy (slashed) flat in a narrow valley by the babbling Two Mile Creek, near Dargo.

Open, with good shade from Gippsland Red Gums and wattle near the creek but access is bumpy.

Surrounded by steep dry sclerophyll forested slopes. 3 benches & BBQs (one secluded at rear of upstream site). Cattle, kookaburras, wrens and wallabies are common.

An attractive green site but potentially crowded at peak periods. The first of 5 sites on the Upper Dargo River Road

This site is accessable by caravans in good weather.

Getting there

from Dargo: North 5.3k on the Dargo Rd to Farm Junction, right (north east) 2k on the Upper Dargo Rd (gravel, narrow, steep, twisty), on the left & just as entering the forest, before crossing the creek.
