A pleasant, large, level, grassed (slashed) flat beside the bubbling Gaffneys Creek. Shaded by Alpine Ash, Peppermint, Blackwood and wattles.

On the National Bicentennial Horse Trail although little sign of horses. Not as popular as other Upper Goulburn sites - possibly because of limited fishing.

This campsite is accessable with regular 2wd vehicles.

Getting there

Just south of Knockwood Reserve the Mansfield-Woods Point Rd narrows and starts to climb steeply with many sharp bends - not recommended for caravans or large rigs.
